FOR PROFESSIONALS

Bringing psychological expertise directly into food allergy care
Allergists and food allergy practices see the psychological toll of these diagnoses every day: the stress, anxiety, and trauma that shapes how families engage in and make decisions about care. Most practices don't have the training, time, or resources to address it directly, even when they recognize it matters.

I'm Dr. Elizabeth Hawkins and I bring clinical psychology expertise and firsthand experience as a food allergy parent to help close that gap, working alongside practices, providers, and their patients to build psychological support directly into the care you already provide.

HOW I CAN HELP

For the Practice

Consultation on integrating psychological support into your practice, referral pathway development, research collaboration, and protocols for supporting patients through treatments like OIT.

For the Providers

Staff training and education on the psychological side of food allergy care, and consultation on specific patient presentations.

For the Patient

Screening and brief intervention resources, support circles tailored to your patient population, and co-branded or licensed patient resources.

Practice and provider consultation is available globally, regardless of location. Direct clinical services for patients are subject to my licensing in British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, and PSYPACT states
